Agents & MCP

Run a survey from the chat you already have open.

Create, send and read surveys over MCP, on every plan. Connect once, then ask Claude or ChatGPT for a survey and read the answer in the same thread.

Two messages.
One answer.

The first message sets up the survey and sends the invites. The second reads back what people said: the themes, the split, and what to do about it.

Survey everyone who came to Thursday's summit and tell me what to fix for next year.
Done. I set up an agent survey for the 10,412 people who scanned in, with two topics: session quality, and breaks and venue logistics. Invites are going out now.

Any signal yet?
1,214 responses so far, and the answer just firmed up. Short version: content landed, logistics didn't. Break lines and keynote overruns are the top two themes, and there's a split on why sessions ran long.

Recommended actions
1  Stagger breaks by hall and double the coffee stations.
2  Hard-stop keynotes; move overflow to a recorded Q&A.
3  Add hosted networking tables to every break.

Two ways in

For a person. For a builder.

The endpoint comes from the Add MCP client dialog in your workspace; it is specific to your deployment. Sign-in is OAuth: approve once in the browser and the connection persists.

In Claude Desktop

Add a connector.

  1. Open Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector.
  2. Paste the endpoint as the URL and name it ScatterSpoke.
  3. Sign in when your assistant asks. Done.

Then ask for a survey the way you'd ask a colleague. The answer comes back to the same thread.

From the terminal

One command.

claude mcp add --transport http scatterspoke <endpoint>

Any client that speaks MCP over HTTP connects the same way: give it the endpoint, approve the OAuth prompt, and the tools appear.

The tools

From a goal to the answer,
without opening a tab.

Everything you can do in ScatterSpoke, your assistant can do for you: create the survey, send it, read the responses, generate the answer.

create_survey Draft a survey from a goal, an audience and topics.
email_survey Send the invites.
get_survey_results Read responses as they land.
generate_results_brief Turn the responses into the answer.
and 29 more, from listing surveys to running retros and searching feedback.
Respondents too

They can answer from
their own assistant.

If someone was invited to a survey, their agent can list it, start it, answer question by question and submit it. No account, no tab, no form. Answering is free, always.

FAQ

Questions about MCP.

What is MCP?

The Model Context Protocol: the standard way an assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT connects to a tool. Once ScatterSpoke is connected, every tool it exposes shows up in the assistant like any other.

How do I connect?

Open Add MCP client in your ScatterSpoke workspace and copy the snippet. It carries the endpoint for your deployment. Paste it into your assistant, approve once in the browser, and the connection persists. There are no API keys to manage.

What can I do on the free plan?

Almost everything: create and send surveys, read each survey's results and responses, generate the answer, run retros, and answer surveys you were invited to. Searching across all your feedback and the workspace-wide stats are part of the paid plans.

Can respondents answer from their own assistant?

Yes. If someone was invited to a survey, their agent can list it, start it, answer question by question and submit it.

Which assistants work?

Claude Code and Claude Desktop have one-step setup. Any client that speaks MCP over HTTP with OAuth can connect the same way.
