How to Add and Review Action Items

What is the value of meeting for a retrospective with your team if you don’t generate action items from your discussions?

In ScatterSpoke, actionable takeaways appear as action items in a list accessible through every main dashboard as well as inside each retrospective board inside the account.

On the main dashboard, action items can be accessed within the Activity Feed.

‍

On the Retrospectives page, action items can be accessed using the easily discoverable Action items button on the top right corner of your screen.

Inside your retrospective boards, you can also access action items from the same familiar place.

You just can’t escape your actionable takeaways from retrospectives!

Review your action items on the account level if you are a facilitator by click into the Action Items button from any of its locations. This will give you a bird’s eye view of all unresolved action items, their assignees, due dates, and comments.

Adding action items is easy through the action items pop-up. Just use the text box, click Add action item and then add assignees, due dates and details retroactively.

Delete and rename action items in your list using the three dot menu on the right most side of the pop up.

When action items have been completed, click the Resolve button that appears next to each action.

This will remove the action item from your list and add it to the Resolved area of your action items pop up. Toggle between unresolved and resolved action items to see your completed list of action items if you want to refer back to it.
