ScatterSpoke Engagement Score

The ScatterSpoke Engagement Score

The ScatterSpoke Engagement Score is a simple way to measure how engaged your team is when giving feedback. It combines two important factors: how many people on the team participated and the quality of the feedback they provided.

ScatterSpoke Engagement Score

‍

Why It Matters

The ScatterSpoke Engagement Score helps you see how involved your team is in providing feedback. By looking at both how many people participate (quantity) and how useful their feedback is (quality), you get a clearer picture of your team’s engagement.

Over time, this score can help you understand where you might need to improve—whether it’s getting more people involved or encouraging better feedback.

‍

How the Engagement Score Works

The Engagement Score takes into account:

Participation Rate: This shows how many team members took part in giving feedback. For example, if 8 out of 10 team members participate, the participation rate is 80% (or 0.8).

Feedback Quality: This measures how valuable or detailed the feedback was. Each person’s feedback is given a score, and the average of all scores is used in the calculation.

‍

Example

Let’s say:

  • 80% of the team gave feedback.
  • The average feedback quality score is 0.75.

The engagement score in this case would be 78%.

‍

Where to Find Your Engagement Score

You can find the ScatterSpoke Engagement Score in several places:
