Weekly Temperature Checks

Weekly Temperature Checks: Gauging Team Sentiment and Performance

Purpose: Weekly feedback sessions offer a broader perspective on team dynamics and project progress, crucial for understanding overall sentiment and identifying recurring issues.

Benefits:

  • Holistic view of team mood and satisfaction
  • Strategic planning and decision-making
  • Improved team dynamics
  • Less feedback fatigue

How to Implement:

  1. Navigate to Feedback:
    • Click on Feedback from the side navigation menu.
    • Click the Feedback dropdown and select Async Feedback.
  2. View Existing Schedules or Create New:
    • You can see the schedules you already have set up.
    • Click Create to set up a new schedule.
  3. Set Up the Weekly Temperature Check:
    • Name Your Session: Give the schedule a relevant name, such as "Weekly Check-In."
    • Choose Collection Platform: Select the platform where you want to collect feedback, such as email, Slack, or Teams.
    • Customize Questions: Set a mix of quantitative surveys and open-ended questions, use a retrospective template, or let our system automatically generate questions based on team and organizational context. At a weekly cadence you can ask slightly more broad questions but we still recommend focusing on the work that happened that week.
    • Review AI-Generated Summaries: The team can review AI-generated summaries and key insights to make it easier to review and act upon the feedback for the next week.
